On October 20, 2023 we will celebrate the 7th Graduation at Namnyaki secondary School, with more than 20 girls graduating!
These Pastoralists Maasai girls were not supposed to continue with secondary School education because of different reasons, among them being forced to early marriages, inability to pay school fees, being wrongly told they were not intelligent enough to study secondary School, and for failing primary School exams.
But thanks to the patient and loving teachers, the Namnyaki Maasai Girls Secondary School became a rescue center for these Maasai Girls and they have made it! Now they are waiting to celebrate with different friends on 10/20/2023 and this our announcement inviting everyone to come and join with us to celebrate their happiness, and to continue pray for them and for this big day.
The teachers organized fundraising on the same day to also accept contributions for new kitchen construction, building maintenance, and the purchase of a big heavy duty photocopy and printer machine for school exam needs. They are planning to raise 21,000,000 tshs ($9,000) for both students and teachers to continue learning and working comfortably at our Namnyaki school.
